Peak Proteins Presenting at Industrial Biotechnology Careers Fair in Manchester

Dr Hazel Weir will be presenting at the Industrial Biotechnology Careers Fair at The Principal Manchester on the 10th June.

Following the success of the Industrial Biotechnology and Bioenergy Careers Fair at The University of Sheffield last April, the CBMNet has joined NPRONET and biocatnet for a second event, aimed at Early Career Researchers interested in learning about future career choices in the Industrial Biotechnology and Bioenergy (IBBE) sector.

CBMNet (Crossing Biological Membranes Network), NPRONET (Natural Products Discovery and Bioengineering Network) and biocatnet (Biocatalyst Discovery, Development and Scale Up Network), are all Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC) funded Networks in Biotechnology and Bioenergy (NIBB).

A number of companies involved in the IBBE sector will be presenting including AstraZeneca, Green Biologics, Lonza and Peak Proteins.

Hazel, who is delighted to be given this opportunity to present, commented, “We are always keen to promote the diversity of careers available in the biotechnology industry.  We are currently recruiting talented individuals to join our team and are looking forward to meeting potential future employees!”.

Please register for this free event before the 3rd of June.
