Joshua Greally PhD

Josh started out life as a chemist obtaining his BSc in chemistry from the university of Liverpool and MSc in drug discovery from the university of Surrey. From here Josh moved into industry and was employed as a medicinal chemist at Redx pharma. Josh decided to return to academia to undertake his PhD exploring protein conjugate therapies at the University of Manchester. Before Joining Peak proteins, Josh was the lead bioconjugation scientist at BiVictriX therapeutics.

Josh Decided he wanted to use his more diverse knowledge background to help initiate, design and influence projects. This coupled with his keen interest in all aspects of proteins particularly their role in disease, as both target and therapeutics, lead him to a business development role at Peak Proteins.

In his spare time Josh enjoys cycling, swimming and running, both separately and in triathlon format. He enjoys anything outdoorsy and has a soft spot for the Scottish Highlands and Islands. He and his wife routinely travel up to explore all they have to offer, wild camping, hiking and meeting the local wildlife. Recently Josh has discovered his green finger and is currently trying to landscape his wasteland of a back garden. Josh and his wife are currently expecting their first child and so is quite aware that his list of hobbies will soon rapidly disintegrate.
