Anna Bennett MSc

Science has always been Anna’s passion and with the completion of her BSc in Biochemistry, she had already found her love for being in the lab. But her interest in protein science came from her MSc in Biotechnology at the University of York, where she spent her days recombinantly expressing and purifying carbohydrate active enzymes. Wanting to pursue a career doing something she loves, whilst contributing to a brighter future, she found that a role as a protein scientist at Peak Proteins was the best of both worlds.

Outside of the lab, Anna enjoys being out in the fresh air, whether that’s going walking, camping or playing tennis. If the sun is shining, you can bet she’ll be out enjoying it. When not outside, she can probably be found watching Friends for the 100th time or playing board games with her friends. Most importantly though she loves a good cup of tea!
