Daniel Tait has a wealth of industrial cell culture experience, including working to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.

Daniel graduated with a degree in Human Biology with Sports Studies from the University of Hertfordshire. After finishing his degree Daniel joined Cobra Biologics where he carried out cell culture and plasmid protein production for clients in the pharmaceutical industry for clinical trials.

Daniel used a variety of cell culture systems including E.coli, HEK 293, Super vero, CHO and T-Rex 293, specialising in large-scale E.coli fermentations in both stainless steel and disposable fermenters. During his time at Cobra Biologics, he was also involved in the production of one of the first batches of the Oxford AstraZeneca COVID vaccine used in clinical trials.

Outside of work Daniel enjoys playing in a band, rock climbing and hiking.
