Clare has over 20 years industrial experience across the pharmaceutical, companion diagnostic and cell and gene therapy field.
Clare graduated from De Montfort University, Leicester with a BSc (Hons) in Applied biology (Toxicology) with a year industrial placement in AstraZeneca, Molecular Toxicology within Global Safety Assessment.
Clare joined AstraZeneca in 2002 working at both Charnwood and Alderley Park sites, where she worked in multiple departments within Global Safety Assessment. Clare later moved to the cell and gene therapy industry where she spent 7 years as a fermentation and analytics senior scientist at Charles River Laboratories.
Clare has a young family and enjoys spending time outdoors and at the pool splashing around having fun. At a weekend, you will often find Clare with the family at a car boot on the hunt for a treasure, or in the garden.
